We’re inviting all people who are curious about music-whether you’re a complete beginner or already have some experience to come out for our Orchestra Tryouts! This will be held on Monday, August 24th, 2026 from 5-7PM at the Lea County Center for the Arts

‼️IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ‼️

For logistical reasons, we have collectively decided to adjust our rehearsal times. We will finish off our summer orchestra and go into our fall and spring sessions with this new schedule.

Look out for updates regarding our fall orchestra session! Absolutely everyone ages 10+ from all around Lea County are welcome to join us.

🎵 LCCA Kids Music Lab – This Saturday! 🎵

THIS SATURDAY, JULY 18, from 10:00am to 3:00pm, bring the kids to the LCCA Kids Music Lab for a hands-on day of music exploration!

We’ll have full drum sets, electric and acoustic guitars, violins, pianos, and vocal modulators set up and ready for kids to come in and play them. After open play, we’ll host mini-workshops for each instrument so kids can learn the basics and ask questions.

This event is designed to give every child a chance to experience what it feels like to play an instrument, no experience needed.

We’re also partnering with United Way’s Feeding Families, so food will be available on-site.

- Never touched a violin, viola, cello, or double bass? Never been a part of our orchestra? That is okay! Come by and try out our demo instruments and see what your best fit is.

- You will receive important information about our summer session, and get the opportunity to visit with our teachers and directors!

- You may also pay the $25 tuition. Cash only! ALL RETURNING MEMBERS can also come by and pay the $25 tuition fee in advance as well.

- RETURNING MEMBERS and any advanced/experienced players can also audition for the advanced orchestra if they feel ready.

We look forward to seeing you all soon! Rehearsals begin in 2 weeks!

2026 Summer Sessions! 🎻

Here is an opportunity to join our wonderful orchestral family! We not only learn to play string instruments, but have fun together as friends of music! Whether you are a complete beginner who has never touched a violin or cello, or an experienced player, we have a place for you! No music reading knowledge required either!

Don’t know what to play? Join us on June 15 from 5-7pm to try out and pick an instrument, as well as meet with our teachers and directors. Returning members can also come by to pay tuition and audition for the advanced orchestra.

Rehearsals will happen on Mondays at 6pm beginning on June 29.

Tuition this year is only $25!
All people ages 10+ welcome.
