No baking drop today as I was busy with exams and clinicals this week.

I did finally get around to photographing some of my art for print. The originals will be for sale soon in gorgeous floating frames my neighbor is making for me. Here are some of my favorites!

The Weekly Drop Menu at the Birdhouse is here!

Starting at 9:00am, a sprinkle of sweetness, a dash of art, and a pinch of magic tucked into the margins of life.

This week on the porch:

🔹 Mini banana bread loaves
🔹 Small batch apple butter
🔹 Handmade seasonal jam
🔹 Strawberry rhubarb crumble (frozen)

And new this week: Ocean Blessing Jars
Small repurposed jars filled with colorful jasper, quartz, seashells, and warm sand gathered from the beaches of Bandon, OR. A small blessing is tucked inside each jar to ground, encourage, and manifest. Only 6 available.

Everything is handmade in small batches so once it's gone, it's gone. Come wander by, pick up a treat or a treasure, soak up a bit of magic and help this tiny porch mercantile grow. 🌱

Welcome to The Birdhouse, a tiny porch micro bakery and mercantile filled with homemade bakes, original art, and a bit of everyday magic.

Inspired by changing seasons, old gardens, woodland things, and the joy of making by hand, the porch is stocked with small-batch treats, collage art and prints, curious little treasures, and whatever bit of whimsy I’ve been dreaming up lately.

Some days that means warm scones and cookies. Other days it might be sea creatures made from torn paper, tiny blessings, found treasures, or something strange and beautiful tucked among the shelves.

The Birdhouse is meant to feel a little like finding a cottage at the edge of the woods, somewhere you can stop for something sweet, discover a piece of art, and take a little magic home with you.

Baked with love. Made by hand. Gathered with a little wildness and whimsy. ✨ 🍄
