We had our first day with our Youth Apprentices and their energy is off the charts as they begin their collaboration on an original performance inspired by “Commons”, the vibrant downtown Cincinnati mural designed by Shahzia Sikander.

We are excited to be in collaboration with 1001 Colors, exploring themes of identity, power, autonomy, and belonging, through dance with a culminating performance taking place Saturday, October 10th from 8:00 - 10:00pm during BLINK 2026!

What is Dancing on the Globe? It is one of our most popular classes!

It is a workshop for everyone – from novice to advanced – and teaches participants to look at the world through the lens of dance from cultures around the globe.

Dancing on the Globe is an interactive and hands on way to think globally and enhance cultural empathy. Our most requested dances are Kakilambe, Salsa, and Bollywood!

Book Dancing on the Globe as a stand alone class or as a series of 8 or more classes.
