I finally decided to make a page for my passion project/business, so it’s time for an introduction post hehe

Ghoul Studio is a small ceramic business all hand made in our home located in High Point, NC. Everything is made by me, JoHanah Bottoms, and sometimes by my lovely boyfriend, Philip Kester, when nicely convinced to help me 🤩 Every item is designed, made, glazed, and finished by hand, which means no two pieces are exactly alike.

I discovered my love for ceramics during a hand-building class in 2022 at UNCW. Since then, I’ve done personal projects, but I have always wanted to do something more. After recently finding a full-time job in my desired field (Graphic Artist for a screen printing company 🤪), I decided I should find something that brings me joy outside of work. Thus leading to the creation of a small studio in our garage, which is a work in progress, but it’s still my favorite place to be. I look forward to sharing my work with you all and I hope you like what you see!
