Hi friend,
Have you ever noticed how the Chickadee doesn’t wait for the warmest day of spring to start singing? Even when there’s a bit of a bite left in the air, that little bird is out there, perched on a budding branch, announcing that something new is on the way.
Sometimes, our lives feel like those "in-between" seasons. We aren’t quite where we used to be, but we aren’t fully in "bloom" yet either.
"See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?" — Isaiah 43:19
Growth isn’t always loud. Often, it’s as quiet as a bud forming on a branch or a bird finding its footing. Today, I want to invite you to simply perceive the new thing happening in you. You don’t have to be in full bloom to be beautiful. You just have to be present.
A Simple Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the seasons of quiet preparation. Help me to trust the growth I cannot see yet, and give me a song of hope to sing while I wait. Amen.
Reflection: What is one small "bud" of joy you’ve noticed in your life this week?
Warmly,
Sara
