🀄 NEW: Mah Jongg Open Play Guidelines!

Our Mah Jongg community is growing, and we want Open Play to be fun and enjoyable for everyone! We’ve recently published some Open Play Guidelines to help keep our tables flowing at a comfortable pace.

If you’re one of our regular players, you may not have seen these yet — so please take a quick look! 👀

A few highlights:
⏱️ Keep the game moving. Plan your hand while others are playing. As a general guideline, most turns should take about 10–15 seconds, with an occasional longer pause when needed.

🀄 Open Play is for independent players who are comfortable dealing, running the Charleston, discarding, and using the NMJL card and rules.

❤️ Haven’t played with us in a while? Come back and join us! We’re continuing to refine our Open Play experience as our Mah Jongg community grows, and we’d love to see you at the tables.

Eventually, as we have enough players, we hope to offer different-paced tables. For now, we’re asking everyone to help us maintain a comfortable Open Play pace.

And one more important reminder: If you register, please plan to attend. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows can leave a table short.
