No Extra Time

Sometimes theres so much in my brain I feel it will explode.
I hold in so much stress, I fear I might implode.

Its easier for those around me if I hold my feelings in,
But some days go by that I just cant seem to win.

I look around and see the things God has blessed me with.
How can I be so depressed when I have so many gifts?

When one thing goes askew everything else falls down.
Its good to be grounded, but dont wallow on the ground.

Its hard, but its vital that I get back up each time I fall.
I must show up, must not be late there is no time to stall.

Father Time, he never pauses no matter who asks for more.
Time is moving quickly, even though you are bruised and sore .

Take in each day and be present, but dont forget to rest.
Be honest with yourself, that is always the best.

No extra time is given so make these moments last.
Hold on to your blessings, days come and go so fast.
