Toured an impeccably well behaved group of Kindergardeners through the Japanese wing of the Freer Gallery in DC today. Explored screens, woodblock prints and Japanese Buddha. Way to go Montessori Peace School students! You rock!

Prepping for tomorrow's Creative Kids! Workshop on Henry Moore. Covered in plaster of Paris and loving every minute of it. Can't wait to introduce a cool new way to sculpt to my students. I'll post photos tomorrow afternoon.

Many of you who have known me for years know that I used to own and operate an arts education for children. Although I retired from "art.smart.kids" over 6 years ago, I have a business page that is loaded with fun, engaging and, I admit it, often messy art activities and ideas. I no longer post to the page but, I thought it might be a good idea to share it here for those of you with little kids who are looking for activities to keep them engaged and busy during this time. Thank you Julie Nicholson Burke for inspiring me to post this even if you didn't realize it.
If you see an art project that you want to do but, don't know the specifics or what materials you might need I am happy to answer any questions.
Now, go get crafty with your kids!!
