In celebration of CANADA DAY 2025 I am honoured to reflect on my country of birth, OH CANADA! Growing up along Jane street from Eglington West to Finch I never imagined that one day I would be standing in front of a not only a work of art that I created but an entire large-scale activation that I produced commissioned to be displayed in the hallowed halls of one of our nations greatest fine art institutes, The Royal Ontario Museum!
From my imagination to the office of to the national HQ to the Maple Leaf Theatre to the QEW on 40 foot digital billboards, to Library Presents to the Crystal foyer built with the support of Jamaican Canadian inside the .
My God, has it been an incredible ride celebrating my Nation of birth. The chosen nation of my Jamaican immigrant parents. Thank you Mom and Dad for your support and sacrifice to give your son the chance to do God’s work in the world and bring people from around the world globe together through fine art and activations to be experienced and enjoyed.
I am forever grateful for ever single person and organization along the way that made any of this possible with their support and love.
