Sunset at Strawberry Point 30x40 Oil

The primary reason we relocated to southern Utah was for the never ending beauty and inspiration of the diverse landscape. Strawberry Point is gem that has similar geologic formations as nearby Cedar Breaks and Bryce Canyon.

This is a little larger painting I developed from a recent Plein air piece I captured up on the mountain. I used plenty of artistic license - The aspens seemed to catch reflected light from every direction and the atmosphere really grabbed my attention.
