“For me, and for many of us, our first waking thought of the day is "I didnt get enough sleep." The next one is "I don't have enough time." Whether true or not, that thought of not enough occurs to us automatically before we even think to question or examine it.” - Lynne Twist
So how do you push back waking up in scarcity?
1. Spiritually remind yourself that you are not God, so therefore you have a provider that operates only in abundance.
2. Emotionally take inventory of where you are and what triggers you not feeling like you have enough. You may need to verbally say “I am enough. I have enough.”
3. Mentally remind yourself of all that you have (your body, your breath, your heartbeat, the people, the resources, etc.)
4. Physically step into your body and let each movement or breath remind you of the gift of life.
5. Intellectually take a ten second birds eye view of the culture that surrounds you and challenge the ideologies that jeopardize your being.
6. Environmentally invite nature into your perspective (consider the flowers, and trees, the animals that do not fret over who they will be or what they will do)
7. Socially invite in healthy relationships that allow you to fully show up in all your splendor!
8. Occupationally set aside a specific amount of time to your purpose and calling. Ask yourself what and how am I being called to contribute to my work today.
You are enough. You have enough. So walk in your “enoughness” shorty.
