The last few months of tattooing have been a BLAST
I’m fu**in struggling y’all, it’s tough trying to compete with all the pop-up shops throwing crappy tattoos on people for little to no money. The last few phone calls I’ve taken have ended with “well so&so said they’d do it for half that”
folks are out here price shopping for face tats man.. it’s rough.
Anyways, i just needed to get that out.. there are some of us still out here making s**t daily trying to make enough to survive while simultaneously wanting to provide our customers with the best tattoos that we can make.
I sat in last night while Jeff Duke tattooed a long time client of his, and she asked me what the best lesson I had learned from Jeff is. That lesson would be to not take this too seriously, and have fun making cool tattoos.. sometimes ya just gotta let the s**t flow out of you and send it 🤷🏻♂️
it just reminded me how special tattooing is.. so I guess I’m just feeling sentimental 😅
