Sitting on the coastline, twas a handsome K-9, nay his thoughts could not be bought. I imagine he's thinking there is an Alpo dish of fish, that needs to be caught! Awesome picture Matt

Six years ago today Photo Dog Jackson and I arrived in Eugene, Oregon. We had moved more than 2,000 miles from North Carolina, though our trip from the east coast to the west took us more than 9,000 miles. I like to take the scenic route by staying off the interstates, visit family & friends, and see areas of the US I haven’t before (and even revisit others.) Our trek started by following the Atlantic Coast to the Florida Keys, and then I followed the Gulf Coast to Texas, from Texas we traveled through the southwest to the California coast and up to Oregon. This was the sunset at Harris Beach in Oregon on March 27, 2018.

As a youngster in church, I recall the choir singing ''There Is A Lighthouse'' although I can't remember the words, this picture, to me, depicts us, as brothers and sisters in Christ, rising above the lighthouse someday. That day could be today. An extremely thought-provoking shot Matt, truly beautiful, thanks so much for sharing!

For tonight's photograph we are going back to my trip back six years ago moving from North Carolina to Oregon. After visiting a relative in Oakland I headed up the California coast. Jackson and I stopped by Point Reyes National Seashore. The g*t to the lighthouse was locked so I was only able to get this angle of the Point Reyes Lighthouse.

Sitting on its banks I often find myself, somewhat staring into the mystic, our weight on earth's scales, suffers many tattered sails, however, I try to remain optimistic. It's a lovely photo thanks for sharing.
