Loom & Thread's yarn database helps you track yarn beyond your memory and your vibes: it stores the manufacturer data, fiber content, weight, WPI, care instructions, and even color matching with hex codes to ensure your project matches your dreams.

Add the colors you own to your stash- whether that means adding full cones or entering the weight of partial cones. Then track what you actually have on hand.

That exact moment is why I built Loom & Thread: when you need to know your warp, weft, loom waste, yarn requirements, stash gaps, shopping list, and time estimate without opening six tabs and negotiating with a calculator.

The Live Calculations feature updates as you plan, in imperial or metric, because weaving already has enough tiny variables trying to unionize.

The goal is simple: less math fog, more confident planning, and fewer mystery notes tucked into project bags.

Know Your Loom Specs: Every loom has a personality. Some are elegant. Some are stubborn. Some require negotiation and an offering to the Tension Gods.

Loom & Thread helps keep the important bits from wandering off into the studio fog: name, type, shaft count, and detailed notes on the quirks that make each loom its own particular beast.
