Madeline began creating her original art work as special gifts for friends and family since she was a teenager. As her popularity has grown, she continues to work on commissioned works as well as her completing special orders of "Madified Custom Kicks" - her splatter art sneakers. Her unique and inspirational stationery and other art pieces will soon be found at local craft and art fairs.

🎨 Love knows no distance, and neither does Camp Papillon! ❤️

Meet Zelda, a Camp Papillon alum who found her forever home with Maddie Ahrensfeld, a talented young artist from Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

Maddie captures the world around her through her beautiful artwork, and Zelda is one of her favorite subjects! The photos and painting below are of sweet Zelda.

Maddie creates and sells her artwork at Reciprocity Artisans Market in Harwich, MA, bringing a little piece of her creativity, and her love for Zelda, to her community.

Her story is such a wonderful reminder that you don’t have to live in Pennsylvania to love Camp Papillon or support the work we do. Our dogs find their forever families far beyond our local community, and supporters from near and far help make those happy endings possible.

From Pennsylvania to Cape Cod, love travels. 💚
