Lake Country Dance was created to give children in preschool - eighth grade an opportunity to be a part of something great in their community. We have a passion for creating a community that radiates joy and genuine positivity. Our program strives to create well rounded dancers by training and performing in pom, jazz, hip hop, and contemporary styles. Training will surpass a recreational level and
emphasize technique in a fun, competitive team environment. LC Dance will prepare dancers in the Lake Country area with the skills and confidence they need to prepare for their prospective high school dance teams. Lake Country Dance values the lessons learned through the competitive dance world. Each competition is an opportunity for performance, feedback, and growth. The nature of competitive dance will encourage dancers to give their best effort, but LC Dancers will focus on more than just results. LC Dancers are encouraged to support their competitors, build relationships, and create a positive atmosphere among all teams at each event. Our abbreviated introductory season will begin this September and run through March 2022. LC Dance teams will practice at Stone Bank School in Oconomowoc, WI. Dancers will attend local competitions and community performances. Each team will showcase routines in both pom and jazz styles. LC Dance will also feature celebrations and experiences throughout the season including holiday parties, spirit days, and social events to support and enhance the team bonding experience.
