Night Fall Night Fall is a collaborative, creative celebration of Hartford's art, music & dance ecosystem.

Night Fall is a free, celebratory event taking place in one of Hartford's beautiful and historic parks each October. Featuring local artists, performers and children, the production has become a highly anticipated annual event. In an idyllic urban park setting, lights glitter as Anne Cubberly's giant puppets herald the end of autumn and the dawn of winter. Communities converge in a lavish performa

nce of spoken word, dance, puppetry and music, culminating in a lighted lantern procession. Night Fall is a festival of theater, pageantry, movement and music as well as a uniquely Hartford celebration of nature, our shared history and most importantly, our communities. Join Night Fall at our Art Studio (207 Garden Street, Hartford) as we celebrate National Creativity Day! Starting at 1pm, participants will help Night Fall Collaborating Artist Samuel Ferri generate ideas based on our 2026 show themes by doodling on our studio windows. Jess from Play All Day Kids will lead sensory-friendly activities and crafts. From 5pm to 7pm, Night Fall Collaborating Artist Savana Jones will help us wind down our bodies and minds this National Day of Creativity with stretching, movement and mindfulness.If the weather permits, we’ll even be outside on the sidewalk with chalk, hula hoops, and more!
