I had so much fun getting back into Ballet, during the semester. Ballet class can be a place filled with old nightmares and dreams for me. A lot of “ I should look like this/what don’t I look like this?” But during my time I’ve been learning to shed that. What happens when I take class for me? When my focus is strength? What happens when I turn my inner critic into my friend? Sometimes even I have to remind myself that Ballet is neither the beginning or end of everything, but instead it can simply be a place of arriving, accepting and learning.

First Semester completed! I made a new work called “Lifeline” and I’m excited to share it with you someday.
