Hey everyone! I am teaching a teens and tweens pottery class starting Monday. I only have two signed up right now, and unfortunately if I don’t get anymore sign ups they will have to cancel it. So if you have any kids interested in participating go to https://artcenterky.org/ . We will be practicing pottery on the wheel, as well as making some miniature figurines. I plan to show the kids how to hand build a little planter that they can adorn however they want. We will also work on making a little luminary for a small candle 🕯️. It will be lots of fun with a field trip to see the wood fire pots in the art exhibit upstairs in the art center.

I took a really fun class with Buddy Dobbins this weekend, and made these super cute pots! I think Buddy is a phenomenal artist and I aspire to do work as beautiful as his ❤️

I have gotten pretty use to loss working with pottery💜. It has definitely gotten easier the longer I have been doing it. This one stung a little today 😒. I had already put in so much work on this cup, and it literally breaks when I am setting it down. Oh well 🤷‍♀️

This was so fun! I made it in a couple photos with my friend Ryan Durbin. It was so cool to see the man who taught me how to throw a pot Les Greenman. Les (owner of Broadway Clay) was there the first time this kiln was fired 25 years ago. Very cool experience!

Anagama Dragon 🐉 Kiln firing in Danville Ky with the Art Center of the Bluegrass . What An amazing experience to participate with some of the most wonderful and talented people I have ever met. I got several pieces in the kiln and I am so excited to see the results. 🏺. This experience brought together a community and it is something I will always remember 👏❤️

Huge shout out to DiamondCore Tools 🧰! I used so many of their carving tools on this vase and they are the absolute best! It makes my mediocre carving look 👀 good 👍
