One of our favorite JMU traditions is back! Come see all 10 of JMU’s a ca****la groups take the Memorial Hall stage for an afternoon of a ca****la music, including yours truly🥳

🎓 SENIOR SEND-OFF: MAX LAYMAN 🎓

Next up in our Senior Send-Offs is Max Layman! 💙

Max’s favorite Proj memory is his first spring break trip with the group. It was a great chance to spend time together, get to know everyone better, and make some lasting memories. ☀️

His advice to current and future members: soak up your time both in college and with TMP as much as you can. College goes by quickly, and so does your time with Proj. Enjoy it while it lasts!

After graduation, Max plans to save up for a move to New York City and continue pursuing acting!!

Max, thank you for all the time, energy, laughter, and memories you’ve given to Proj. While we’ll miss having you with us, we couldn’t be more excited to watch you chase your dreams and begin this next chapter! We love you and can’t wait to see all that you accomplish.

🎓 SENIOR SEND-OFF: WILL DANIELS 🎓

Our Senior Send-Offs continue with Will Daniels!

When it comes to his favorite Proj memory, Will couldn’t pick just one. It’s a toss-up between doing traditions with his newb class and the unforgettable experience of the entire group singing Evergreen for the Harrisonburg Police on Halloween night.

Will’s advice to current and future members is something every Project member should take to heart: “You will blink and suddenly you’ll be getting your own send-off post.” The days may feel slow, but the weeks fly by, so whenever you get the chance to stop and appreciate where you are and who you’re with, live it to the fullest.

These days, Will is living and working in Richmond, VA, experiencing the joys of post-grad life firsthand. His official review so far: “Being an adult sucks…”

Will, thank you for the music, the laughs, the traditions, and all the memories you’ve given Proj. There just ain’t no sunshine when you’re gone.

🎓SENIOR SENDOFF: KIAN MOSTAGHIM

Our next Senior Send-Off is Kian Mostaghim! Here’s what Kian had to say about his time in TMP:

My favorite memory from Proj was our 30th anniversary, but not for the reasons you may think. Although it was an incredible honor to serve as music director for our biggest concert ever and sing one last time as a college student with my brothers, the best part about the weekend was meeting our alumni. I can’t express how much these guys had the EXACT same energy as us! Even though I met many of them for the first time, we instantly clicked and joked around like I have with any of my brothers I’ve spent the past four years with. Knowing that time can’t diminish the innate bond we share as brothers made it just a tiny bit easier to say my goodbyes to JMU and my brothers.

My advice to the current group and to all my future brothers is simple. Enjoy yourself, choose kindness and patience (even when it’s hard), and follow your dreams relentlessly and without hesitation. You won’t get anywhere worth going by taking advice from people who don’t share your dream or want it as badly as you do. And remember, you always have a network of incredible brothers that have your back and will support you whenever and however you need it.

In this next phase, I will be working as a Financial Analyst and Investment Manager for a large private portfolio. I always felt that it made no sense that the finance bro was teaching and conducting a group of such talented musicians, many of whom will be successful performers while I sit behind spreadsheets! I also hope to keep up my singing and find outlets to chase the high of performing with my brothers, even though I know I will always fall short.
