Featuring this week’s creator/manager feature: Arizona McNicol, the Events & Partnerships Manager and creator behind Artzona Creates 🎨✨

Arizona is a junior studying hospitality with a business minor and is originally from Chesapeake, VA. She started her business in 2019, with a passion for painting nature scenes. She built her business to share the beauty of nature through her artwork with hopes of bringing a smile to someone’s face.

For Arizona, the best part of the creative process is seeing a piece come to life and knowing that one of her works brings joy to someone else. She hopes to continue to share her appreciation for nature and art with others.

🎉We are SO excited to announce the Grand Opening of our new retail shop on-campus! 🎉

Stop by 131 W Grace Street on Friday October 2nd from 12-4pm and browse the new space, shop incredible handmade student creations, and celebrate with us!

Featuring this week’s creator feature: Brianna Arendacs, the creator behind JMU Gameday Pins 💜💛

Brianna is a junior studying Public Relations with a minor in entrepreneurship and is originally from Montvale, NJ. She started her business in 2024 as a freshman with her business partner Mary. For Brianna, the best part of the creative process is seeing so many JMU students wearing their pins during game day or seeing their sorority pins on students’ backpacks.

She believes that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. As a small business she says there can be many challenges, but as long as you keep working hard, you can succeed at anything you want to achieve.

Featuring this week’s creator/manager feature: Princessa Crews, the campus manager and creator behind Forever Bloom 💐✨

Princessa is a sophomore studying Elementary Education and is originally from Altavista, VA. She started her business in 2026, with a passion for creativity and entrepreneurship. She built her business on the idea that meaningful gifts don’t have to be temporary, with every product being made with care, creativity, and the hope of making someone smile.

For Princessa, the best part of the creative process is seeing an idea come to life and knowing that something she made by hand will become meaningful to someone else. She loves getting the chance to experiment with new floral designs while expanding her business into different kinds of products.
