👮‍♀️👨‍🚒Harrisburg National Night Out is Tonight! This fun community event gives Harrisburg residents a chance to meet our first responders. Plus, there is free food while it lasts, raffle, face painting, root beer floats, and live music at the Gazebo!

4th Annual Show& Shine!

We wind down our 250th 4th of July Celebration with a Classic Show & Shine 4-7PM tonight sponsored by The 99 Grill Restaurant and Dave Zech State Farm Agent! Music, food, contests, and door prizes. We also have a few 250th 4th of July shirts for sale in limited sizes $20 or 2/$35 and a blowout sale $5 to $10 for prior years shirts 4-6PM, as well as information on the upcoming Summer Sounds concert series.

PARKING: No parking in this lot, except for the classic cars in the Show & Shine. Spectators should park in the Grocery Deals parking lot across the street or on Smith St. Also, there will be six parking spots blocked for quick parking liquor store & laundry mat only; no show & shine or spectator parking in these spots for any length of time.

Lots of litter along the riverfront on 1st St and on the other side of the river on McMullen Lane. Volunteers appreciated to do some clean up. Just bring a bag and pick up any garbage you see.

Need a few volunteers to go over to McMullen Lane to pick up litter along the road and edge of farmer’s fields (do NOT walk or drive on the fields or crops).

Although Life Bible kindly volunteers to pick up along the parade route after the parade, a few things may still need to be picked up also.

Fireworks will start at dusk. Typically about 10pm. When you leave tonight, please pick up your garbage and any garbage around you so there is less for our volunteers who already did so much today to clean up in morning.

If we parked on McMullen Lane, do NOT park on or walk in fields. It is crop and a farmer’s livelihood. Do NOT light off fireworks over the fields. Please pick up everything you brought in and any garbage around you. We’d love help paying for the fireworks as it’s all paid for with donations.

💙Watch for the boat flag parade at 8PM. @
❤Fireworks start at dusk/10ish. Surprise! The view will be better than ever this year! We moved the location on the west bank of the river closer to the downtown festivities! Best view along the riverfront but you will be able to see them just about everywhere in Harrisburg due to the height and location!
💙So many great food booths this year! Plus, vendors along 1st Street, Smith Street, and in the City's parking lot.

Then come back tomorrow night for the Show & Shine at The 99 Grill Restaurant parking lot.

PARADE ENTRIES! The attached map shows staging locations. Watch for volunteers for assistance.

Emails were sent to the email address you entered online through register twice this week. If you don’t see it, check your junk or spam.

Floats must be decorated before entering the staging area and absolutely no vehicles in the staging area that won’t actually be driven in parade. Walk to your float if needed. If disabled or elderly so need dropped off at float, let the volunteer in that area know. No other exceptions.

For those that registered online to be in the parade, we emailed you your entry number, staging information, and the rules to you a few days ago. We repeated the email today as a reminder and added anyone that registered in the last few days. Staging locations are listed on this map based on the type of entry. When entering the staging area, please follow any instructions given by our board members and volunteers to help us make a smooth and fun parade.
