COMING SOON💥 A one-woman tour-de-force that blends historical drama, dark humor, and rich theatricality, this show is an audience favorite for its bold storytelling and nuanced portrait of a woman reckoning with a notorious family legacy.

Asia Booth Clarke. She was a member of one of America’s most colorful and infamous theatrical dynasties: her father, “The Mad Tragedian” as famed for his lunatic exploits as his acting, her one brother “the prince of players, and her other brother, Lincoln’s assassin and the most hated man in America.

As she wrestles with this complicated legacy, she recounts stories of the many triumphs, scandals and tragedies of the Booths, with humor and the trademark Booth theatricality. Dawn Truax’s performance invites audiences into a haunting, surprisingly humorous, and deeply human exploration of madness and scandal.

With a striking balance of intimacy and theatrical flair, Dawn Truax masterfully embodied the emotional complexities of a sister caught between loyalty, guilt, and truth.

Now imagine that you are a thief, not by choice, but by circumstances—you got a knife in your back while trying to steal so that your kids can eat, and on your way, you came face-to-face with a female Bengal tiger, who entered a human village to find food for her cubs.

Abhisek Bhattacharya’s award-winning play “Empty Night” is a story of our time, when forests are dwindling, habitats are shrinking —and despite their ferocious strength and immense pride, the tigers can only survive as long as humans allow them to. Two individuals on the brink of death confront life; both make sacrifices, and one learns the rules of survival to discover what it means to be human.

PA On Stage joins the Central PA Theatre community in grieving the loss of our friend Aaron Bomar.

In addition to being a talented actor, Aaron brought an embracing spirit of welcome and support to every interaction he had – on and off the stage. He had a current of mischief that ran strong just beneath the surface, so that by the time you saw it flicker in his eyes, he had already drawn you into it -- with a smile.

Safe travels, Aaron. In a world where we are in need of hope, joy, and laughter more than ever, we were lucky for a time that you carried so much extra with you to share.
