WOW. We are home from an exhausting, exhilarating, life-altering and soul-nourishing week at the BHS international convention. We are of course elated to have earned 7th place in the quartet contest, and for that achievement we have our arrangers, coaches and vast support system to thank. We love you all.

Even though we try not to take it for granted in the moment, only upon reflection in the post-event haze do we fully appreciate just how much we get to broaden our own horizons during these conventions. This year, we laughed and sang with folks from four continents. One particular highlight was talking and singing with the remarkable and lovely quartet F.F.【Barbershop quartet】 from Japan. Thanks to them for the photo and the memories.

And finally: To have been backstage for the moments when our friends and heroes in GQ were named champions will forever remain among the greatest gifts we've stumbled into so far in our quartet's time together.

We're already counting down until we see you in Minneapolis next summer, and there's much to come from these silly little barberboys in the weeks and months ahead. Until then. xoxo

WOW. We have qualified for the BHS international quartet finals for the third year in a row! We're so grateful for all of the support we’ve felt and seen here in St. Louis and from afar, and we are exceedingly proud of all of our friends who have shared their hearts and souls across the same stage these past few days. We’ll see all y'all Saturday night. In the meantime, please enjoy this tiny lil easter egg we snuck in to tonight's set as a nod to our biggest barbershop heroes and favorite quartet. xoxo

Wow! We had the great joy of traveling yesterday to Northeastern Pennsylvania to play (and sing) the role of a barbershop quartet in an upcoming feature film. Our scene was set in 1950, so of course we had great fun dressing the part and ringing some chords along the way. Many, many, many thanks to all of the wonderful professionals we've worked with on the project. We don't have any other details to share at this time, but we'll keep y'all updated when the film is announced and how you may be able to see it when the time comes. Until then. xoxo

Wow! Even when Melody isn’t able to be with us irl, we’re thrilled to spend a few hours coaching with her floating head over the internet. No illegal data centers were built in the process of singing our songs last night. We have performances in Pennsylvania each of the next two weekends! Come see us! We’re excited to begin announcing our guest artists this week - starting with a very special “welcome back” to our own Secret Best Friends!

Many of you may remember this incredible quartet from our 2024 holiday show… and since then, they’ve been BUSY! Since appearing on our stage, 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 captured the Mid-Atlantic District Quartet Championship and recently earned another top-10 finish as finalists at the Barbershop Harmony Society International Quartet Contest!

Known for their playful style, ringing harmonies, and unique blend of barbershop, jazz, and contemporary influences, 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬 have quickly become audience favorites wherever they perform. SHOW ALERT. Catch us in New Hope, PA as we join Gimme Four and Shop Class 2.0 on the Evolution In Harmony annual show on Saturday, June 6. We're doing about half an hour, likely including some music you probably haven't heard yet. Who can sing higher: Kevin or Paul? ONLY ONE WAY TO FIND OUT, and that's to drone a pitch pipe throughout Gimme Four's entire set so you know what notes they're hitting. See you there. xoxo

Wow! We are back from an unforgettable weekend in State College, PA. On Friday, the quartet and the one and only Hine Arrangements led a workshop with over 60 middle and high school singers. On Saturday, we performed at the remarkable Recital Hall at the Penn State School of Music. Our eternal gratitude to the Nittany Knights A Capella Barbershop Chorus for their hospitality and their service to their community. If you'd be interested in having SBF + Melody run a workshop or educational event in your area, please reach out. We had a blast and would love to bring our joy for barbershop to your neck of the woods.

Wow! Last weekend we enjoyed a wonderful couple of days at Towson University right here in our backyard, and we qualified for our fifth straight BHS international quartet competition this July. We shared a lot of moments with many of our most special supporters, with a special shoutout to Calvin here for helping us test the mics before it all got started.
