Raindrops held in place as through they are waiting for me, so I can behold, and feel my chest relax, my shoulders drop, my breathing ease at the tangible reminder we are nourished, quenched, washed clean by this beauty.

I took a Christmas Day walk across the farm with my crew. The dense fog made it feel like we had stepped out of the world into some magical space where we could slow down and take in the clean air and saturated colors.

I had to rush in from work, throw on my boots and grab my camera, and head out to stand at the crest of the hill to take this in.

The world is inviting us to be interrupted and change our agenda for the moment to awe.
