Escape the heat and humidity for sips, sweets, and game day every Thursday at Hoople Creek Sweets (201 N Spring Street, Hardy - free parking behind The Corner Booth Restaurant)! Can you help us remember us how to play Hand and Foot? Canasta? Spite and Malice? You Blew It? Yatzke? Scrabble? Dominos? We start the coffee pot around 7 am (GASP) with our yummy snack cakes! Come for coffee, stay for the fun!

Homesteaders Day (September 26,2026) is right around the corner. If you are a vendor and need a Booth, please consider renting one from us at Words & Afterwords Hardy AR!

Our indoor booth comes with air-conditioning and access to an ADA compliant bathroom. We will take special pains to make certain that there is outdoor signage, directing people indoors to our inside vendors.

If you don’t mind braving the heat and want to be seen from Main Street, please consider renting an outdoor booth.

All reservations are taken first come first served. You can pay by scanning the attached QR code.

Have you ever been "puzzled" by how we make our chocolates at Hoople Creek Sweets? Or maybe the whole idea of making chocolates sounds like too much work but you would gladly sample chocolates we made, if asked! Well, let's get together at Words & Afterwords Hardy AR (201 N Spring Street) and we will share a bunch of helpful tips and tricks that we have learned over the years! If we have a gigantic pile of registrations, we might just gift everyone an early holiday present containing "cool stuff" to make beautiful sweets!
