We had a dedication of the Tiny Art Gallery this morning.
“O God, we give you thanks for the gifts of your people, and for the work of many hands. Bless this tiny art gallery, that through beauty, imagination, and shared creativity, it may gladden hearts, welcome neighbors, and reflect the wonder of your creation; through Jesus Christ, our Lord. We dedicate this tiny art gallery to the glory of God for the delight and enrichment of this community. Amen”
Mick Lantis constructed the box and hope sign.
The Arts of Mediator committee has been filling the area with works for the most part : Ruth Merrifield, Julie Bender, Phyllis Norris, Marilee Roth, Jan Anderson

Many thanks. 🙏

July Cabaret Performance with singer Debra Sawyer and pianist David Lahm

Debra Sawyer, local jazz/pop vocalist and harpist will be collaborating with renowned jazz pianist David Lahm at the Episcopal Church of the Mediator on July 29 at 6 p.m. Eastern Time.

Debra plays and sings with the harp in the NW Indiana/SW Michigan area in three different ensembles, as a soloist for special events, and as a Certified Clinical Musician for hospital and hospice. She has been learning and playing the harp for almost 30 years and as a performer for the last 15 years.

David is the son of the famous composer Dorothy Fields, and our performance features her iconic mid-20th-century repertoire, including classics such as "I Can't Give You Anything but Love, Baby" and "On the Sunny Side of the Street." David is an astounding pianist and a storyteller too, sharing musical moments with the famous artists involved in his mother's productions.

Admission is a canned good or other item to be donated to Neighbor by Neighbor in New Buffalo.
