Well here we are on our first update for the hibernating bear and her Cubs I'll let the photos speak for themselves and I have not had the time that I would like to had on this project so far but I'm trying to do better

My latest project just getting started. This section of an old grow Fir measure 16 feet long and 5 feet in diameter.
The carving will portray a hibernating momma bear with 2-3 Cubs entertaining themselves while mom is still waking from her long slumber.
I will be taking this projects photo history from receipt of the fir through the carving process to completion and delivery. So be sure to check back regularly click follow, like and share to be notified of new progress photos.

Happy holidays everyone I realize I've been a little slow on getting my post out over the last month or two I apologize but I have been quite busy with new carvings and well it's pretty damn cold outside LOL
I will be posting lots more photos for you to enjoy and comment on if you so desire constructive comments and or pointers are always more than welcome.
As you may or may not know I've only begun carving some three and a half years ago upon my moving to Happy Camp California and I believe I've come a long way in a very short time. So I look forward to your comments and or pointers and please tell your friends about sacred images share my pics my photos.
Oh yes and remember if we are accustomed carving so if you have any ideas I'm surprised you would like whether it is on a walking stick or relief carving or 3D carbon grab some logs in front of your house or on your property by all means give me a call you can reach me at any time area code 707-458-5500 and we can put something together for you and always remember the only limitation is our imagination.

In anticipation of Halloween 2019 I offer the following;

"The Coven"
A coven of witches gathered at night to form a circle beneath the moonlight,
The craft of the wise the art of the old,
The secret of the witches must never be told,
The smell of incense welcomes the Beast, to a witches black Mass a sacred feast Rising their powers and chanting their vows,
To the God of darkness the group then bows.

This was a drawing exercise a few months ago that I done it's called Ultra realism I enjoyed it the practice done me well. Keep in mind this was is a flat sheet of paper and and just drawing out shading but check it out tell me what you think can I get hit the like button and share later
