Meet Beth Ellis- Shirley Burden Public Library
I was born and raised in Michigan and have lived in Germany, Kentucky, California and Oregon. I moved to Alabama 1 1/2 years ago to be closer to 8 of my 9 grandchildren.
As a Library Aide at the Shirley Burden Public Library in Hanceville I assist Ms. Teresa, Manager in any way I can. I love helping patrons find books and discover new authors. I love to travel and am an avid reader and enjoy most genres. I especially like books in series because I love to see the development of the characters and their relationships. My favorite book series is The Mitford books by Jan Karon. I also like the Genevieve Ledard series by Estelle Ryan. My favorite book is usually the one I am currently reading!

And we love that Beth joined our team! She is a great help in cataloging books for our library. You may have noticed all the new books she has been able to add.

We are over-flowing with books! Saturday Book Sale 9am-1pm. Soft cover books starting at 50 cents!
