Thank you for the legendary colorful crochet ~ rest in paradise 🫶
It is with tremendous heartbreaking sorrow that we have to inform you that, after a short battle with an aggressive form of dementia, our beloved and beautiful Sue Maton, has sadly, and peacefully passed away.
We are devastated that Sue has been taken from us so young by such a cruel illness, and coming to terms with this is immensely difficult for us all.
There are no words to truly express how we feel, and the days and weeks ahead will be incredibly hard.
Thank you for all the love you have shared with us for Sue over the past few weeks. Please hold on to that love as we begin a journey none of us ever imagined we would have to face.
Please be assured that Sue’s legacy through The Mercerie will live on in her wonderful courses and creations, which as a family we intend to continue. So with every stitch and pattern you make, please know that we are aware it is made with love for our beautiful Sue.

Funeral details will be released in due course. In the meantime, please allow the family time to come to terms with the loss of Sue.
