🎭 The Two Sides of Summer Camp 🎭

One minute we’re perfecting scenes and learning music. The next we’re running, laughing, competing, getting soaked, and creating memories that will last long after the final curtain call.

Because summer camp isn’t just about putting on a show. It’s about friendships, teamwork, growth, and having an incredible amount of fun along the way.

🌟 Student Spotlight: Ross B.! 🌟

Yesterday, one of our incredible RCSA students, Ross, had the honor of attending a Crystal Lake City Council meeting and leading the Pledge of Allegiance. We are so proud of the poise and enthusiasm he brought to the experience!

Afterward, Ross spent some time chatting with the Mayor about his journey with RCSA. He shared stories about the many roles he’s played, how participating in theatre has helped build his confidence, and even talked about his unforgettable experience raising money for RCSA as his alter-ego, Jason Voorcheese! 🎭🧀

His experience doing this reminds us exactly why arts education matters. Watching young artists grow in confidence, find their voice, and become leaders in their community is what it’s all about.

Way to go, Ross! We’re incredibly proud of you and can’t wait to see what you do next.

Each 6” x 6” masterpiece has been created and donated to help support the life-changing arts education programs of Mission Imagination and Raue Center School For The Arts. Since 2001, these programs have enriched the lives of more than 20,000 children each year throughout our local community.

🌊🐠 RCSA’s Summer Camp Program & Production of The Little Mermaid Jr. is officially underway!!! 🧜‍♀️✨

The first few days have been filled with new friendships, big laughs, creative discoveries, and plenty of excitement as our cast dives into the world beneath the sea. From learning music and choreography to bringing beloved characters to life, these talented performers are already making waves!

We can’t wait to watch this incredible group grow throughout the summer and share their hard work with all of you when they take the stage.
