Dystonia - Wild Child Paintings by Hippy Susie I have Dystonia. A brain disorder- a neuromuscular disorder. I abstract, pour paint and rain paint. I have Dystonia now all over my body. Never give up.

I have some really bad days and sometimes a few good hours enough to paint. Painting was never something I did until I understood that all my fun hobbies had to stop. No more knee boarding on the lake. So I decided with this brain problem, I would take up abstract. I have two kids in my life. Actually Violet loves to paint and I learn from her also. Now Eli is driving and doing early college. We a

re not family by blood but I have had them in my life since they were born. I do have a granddaughter that I do not get to see. But she is always in my heart. I consider myself a Hippy because I really don't care one way or the other what style is in and I more or less speak my truth. I found out this summer that my Dystonia cannot take the heat. So now my love for the beach will have to be in cooler times. I spend weekends enjoying off roading in my Jeep truck. It gives me the chance to be in the cool woods since I can no longer hike. I gave up plenty as the years has passed. So I find something I can do as the Dystonia changes my abilities.
