For our APA members, this marks one of the busiest—and most exciting—times of the year. As communities across the country prepare to celebrate, fireworks will once again bring people together in the spirit of tradition, patriotism, and celebration.

With America’s 250th on the horizon, this season means even more. Thank you to our members for helping make these moments memorable and safe.

This Memorial Day, we honor those who gave their lives in service to our nation.

As we approach America’s 250th, we reflect on the sacrifices that have shaped our country and the responsibility we share to preserve its traditions with respect and care.

It is with great sadness we share the passing of Jon Lambert. He passed on Saturday, 11 April 2026. Jon was a great friend, a former owner of this company, and a revered member of the community. His dedication to the community was immense, spending many years managing Hall-Dale's bus services and spending plenty of time behind the wheel for Cyr Bus. He's been a staple for Camp Laurel, providing their fourth of July fireworks for decades. Even in retirement, he would still swing through to chat with us and the bus crew across the yard. His presence was always a delightful surprise in our day. We will miss him greatly. A Celebration of Life will take place at Maple Hill Farm in Hallowell on 18 April from 11am to 3pm.

Can’t wait for this weekend at the China Lake Ice Fishing Derby 🎇

We’ve got some very exciting news to share!

On Saturday, February 14 (Valentine’s Day!), Central Maine Pyrotechnics will light up the sky with a fireworks display starting at 6:30 PM.

Fireworks will be set off at the north end of China Lake near the causeway, so grab your favorite person, bundle up, and join us as we celebrate the China Lake Ice Fishing Derby, the Town of China, and Valentine’s Day—because nothing says romance quite like fireworks over a frozen lake.

It’s the perfect way to end the day: community, winter magic, and a little sparkle in the sky. Then...off to the Derby!
