The Kaleidoscope Guilde 🍭 has been very busy these past few weeks prepping everything needed to make and assemble custom kaleidoscopes! It may look like they're fooling around, but this is serious business! 😄 I will keep you posted on their progress; they're going to be awesome! 🌈

A kaleidoscope of colors!! Is this amazing or what? Not just one, but SIX fantastical window frames!

Rick and his wife Bonnie had a wonderful colorful concept to up their front porch curb appeal without covering up windows. And an idea was born. 💡

The creative process goes beyond color 🤩
Excellent work Rick!

I'm always excited to show off the great talent in the studio. Keely knocked this one out of the park!

Check out this pattern! And sooooo many tiny pieces. This level of detail is quite amazing. And all with a smile. 😊 Bravo! 👏 🏅

When I was first learning stained glass, I was taught to only tin the front and back edges and bead the outer edge. But check out how Samantha Ashley Glass builds up the bead! Wow! What a difference! She also shares a YouTube how-to link in the comments. I can't wait to try this out! 😀
I also love her decorative soldering work. Impressive! 🩷

Today I finished two more irises (it looks like I'll have 14 irises available on April 27th). Anyways, I just needed to take a minute and appreciate how nice the edge-beading and decorative solder turned out on this pretty blue one. When I first learned stained glass (24 years ago), I was never taught about edge beading, but that's probably because I was only making pieces that went in frames. Once I started making freeform suncatchers, I quickly learned the importance of edge beading or hobby came. 💙

Two more fabulous finished projects! Ana and Diane each put the finishing touches on their panels.

This is Diane's FIRST project since taking a beginner workshop. And check out the color variations in the glass! I am so impressed with this raven. 🐦‍⬛

Ana is an absolute master in color theory. All the colors blend and compliment each other so beautifully. 😍
