Painting with Light at the was next level! We had 20+ in person creating together and 25+ in the virtual class hosted via my new workshop space on the Station mighty network 🥳

I’m always so inspired by the sweet, kind and curious folks that show up - you all inspire me so much❤️‍🔥

Big thanks to my studio assistant .avilaaa for helping with all the prep and production and to Marina for hosting the virtual class with awesome support from a few Vision Train Conductors including extra filming angles by for post production! We also got a bonus download in closing circle that grounds us back in to the truth of the fact of the matter!

This class is a distilled version of how I was taught to develop a painting using a step by step process called the ‘Mischtechnik’ which was taught by Ernst Fuchs and now passed on by a variety of his students. In this 1 day class we are working in acrylic so that the paint dries quickly and we can add layers💫

‘Journey Within’ is a painting that was inspired by a LIVE performance with my sound sculpture DJ friend Berge Sahakian aka 💫

The influence of sound and vibration have always been a major influence in my work✨

Glazing is like magic🤩
Soft bristle brushes are also a huge part of this method and so little color is needed to make the painting pop✨

The LIVE workshop on Saturday hosted via my new workshop space on the and in-person will be a solid over-view of the approach I take in developing a painting and it will be a fresh angle as every painting and scenario is different💫

It’s time to bloom🌸 Painting is a way to explore, adore and express what is inside and a way to fall more in love with the mystery living through us and around us💫

This coming Saturday I am offering a 1 day painting class at the in-person and online in a new space on the station🥳

We will be focusing on the beauty and diversity of flowers and will each choose a bloom to anchor our study in a step by step process that may have us step through the image into another world🤩🥳💫

The hardest part is showing up to your canvas!
