✨🎡🎪Start your day with pancakes by the Lions Club and enjoy the Grand Parade Presented by Des Moines Parent, and spend the afternoon with carnival rides, great food, and games.

Then stick around for LIVE music from Gimikk and a spectacular fireworks display at 10 PM in the Entertainment Garden sponsored by Racoon Valley Bank! Stop by the Midwest Heritage Beer Tent and grab yourself a beverage while listening to some amazing tunes!

Join us for one of the biggest highlights of Governors Days — the Grand Parade, rolling through town with music, floats, performers & fun for all ages!

🚨 Grand Parade Parking Reminder 🚨

To help keep the parade route safe and moving smoothly, please do not park on the parade route or on streets that connect directly to the route prior to the parade.

Street closures will be in effect shortly before and during the parade, and vehicles parked in restricted areas may not be able to leave until the route reopens.

Please plan ahead and use designated public parking areas. Thank you for helping us make the Grand Parade safe and enjoyable for everyone!
