Finally got this wrapped up this week. This was a big job as it was literally the biggest pieces I have ever worked with. Redwood slabs with matching shelving. Did some re-sawing of a black walnut slab for a small table. They needed about 1” taken off the slab. The thin pieces had some amazing woodgrain. #oregonblackwalnut

Bed frame is coming together. Got the headboard just about ready to build the form. I’ll be using white epoxy this go around. Never used that color before. Got all the fronts of the side and top and bottom frame pieces coated with #oldmasters #masterarmor I highly recommend this sealer. Unless you like to work harder lol 😂

Frame and leg mock-up. White oak was a great choice for this build. #oregonwhiteoak # #oldmasters really love the finish. Goes on easy with little to no effort. The hardener make it dry even faster. Once I get the legs set I’ll be applying a few more coats but ran out. I might need a gallon I think.

Another happy client sending me of photos of the table they picked up this afternoon. This was a maple with a full table base. 8 ft by 47.5 on the ends. Really nice epoxy and a 2 coat wax finish. Really enjoyed the whole process…….. except flipping the table but who loves that? lol. #rubiomonocoat #oregonmaple

Loading, hauling, staging, and sanding up to 150 grit on these 17ft monsters. They are so big I had to sand it while. Crawling on top! @jeremy.workman.16 was using a floor sander with a extension. One table out the door on new one in on the same day. What a weekend. After build 6 tables back to back. Had to clean out the shop. It felt good. It also will help workflow. Also coming soon a clamping jig to do multiple glue ups at one time.

Black walnut table almost done. Because of the weight give or take 800+ lbs. I had to add a center support. The top finish makes this table truly shine. I’m adding on last coat for some extra sheen wax finish. My first pour using ice cast from @iceepoxy I left my inside for 2 days. I pop a small series of bubles. Not very many though. I’ll be ordering the tabletop epoxy version from them soon. I highly recommend this product! #iceepoxy #woodworking #microjig
