What if a painting could sing? 🎶✨

On April 11th, we’re bringing a breathtaking solo exhibition to life through sound—transforming layered visuals into an immersive musical journey. Inspired by the lush density of Floridian flora and the fleeting nature of memory, this audio experience captures the colors, textures, and sensations of moments that slip through time.

Each note weaves through recollection. Each harmony echoes a memory. Each pause holds a breath between what was… and what is becoming.

Ensemble, the newest solo exhibition by visual artist Nathan Beard, leads into an evening of musical storytelling presented by Full Body Opera. Sopranos Lindsey Brakhage, Sarah Davis, and Chelsea LaCourse perform a collection of arias and songs centered on life’s transitions. Featuring music by composers like Samuel Barber, Aaron Copland, Richard Wagner, and Jake Heggie, the program explores those in-between moments that shape who we are.

Full Body Opera is a new kind of opera company, built for people who may have never felt like opera was for them. We bring performances beyond the theater and into the community, creating meaningful, human connections through the most universal instrument we all share: the human voice.

Opera doesn’t have to be foreign or intimidating. It’s living, breathing, and deeply human. And we’re here to share it with you.
