"Scarecrow"
This is the second step in my creative process, where I take my initial sketches to the computer and refine them into a final design.
This personal piece is part of my Wizard of Oz collection, sitting alongside Tinman. It explores the dangers of social media, highlighting how these platforms can leave us feeling brain-dead—lost in endless doom scrolling and sacrificing ourselves for fleeting validation through likes, shares, and trends. And yes, the irony that I’m here posting about it is not lost on me—it's a space I’m also navigating, striving to find the balance between social media as a positive force and its potential dangers.
Next Stage: The Puzzle Process
The next phase will be what I call the "puzzle stage." Its where I break the design into pieces and work out how the physical version will come together. It's a focused, distraction-free step—music on, everything else off.
