Here’s how to make your own patches or appliqués to sew onto your clothes! This is so much fun and surprisingly easy!! ❤️🧵make these for 4th of July or any occasion!!
Step 1: Gather supplies- shirt, water or heat soluble pen or marker, heat n bond, sewing machine or needle and thread, iron, and scrap fabric.
Step 2: make a paper stencil, copy that stencil and cut into smaller sections.
Step 3: cut your fabrics out and arrange
Step 4: use heat n bond, a glue stick, or adhesive spray to attach all the pieces together
Step 5: sew the patch together
Step 6: attach heat n bond to back of your patch and iron onto your clothes
Step 7: sew patch on & you’re done and have the cutest custom shirt!!

One day in the 60’s my grandpa was on his way to work and saw a baby deer lying in a ditch, then noticed it still lying there, injured, on his way back home. He picked her up, put her in his truck and took her home to his two boys as their first pet. My dad and his brother took care of her and nursed her back to health, and she remained a beloved pet. This is one of my favorite photographs ever so I painted this for my dad’s birthday today! 🦌🫶🏼

Me 🤝🏽 parchment paper and ziplocs!! I love finding easy little sewing projects and making my own patterns to keep forever! This helps me not only to stay organized, it also saves time when I can just trace and cut instead of having to measure everything over and over! And it’s easy to scale your patterns up or down this way!!
