While balloons gave tethered rides in the background, a few hundred church-going folks came together for the first-ever service on-site at the festival. During the offering time, they raised just under $1000, all to go directly to the event's beneficiaries. Wow! Now that's some serious faith-in-action right there. Thank you Joy Church GP, Philippi Church, First Christian, and River Valley for adding yet another impactful element to the festival, and for helping children and families in our community. www.gpballoonfest.com/mission
