~Reduce, reuse, recycle~

As an artist I aim to protect and preserve Earth as long as possible by reducing my footprint, so I prioritize reducing waste and reusing everything I can then recycling the rest. In return, my dish rack often looks like this!
These containers were donated by a vending friend & were full of food that had long past expired so I soaked each one in a cleaning solution, scrubbed each one out, sanitized them & then set them aside to dry so I can use them for oddities and herbs♡

As the 2026 Bigfoot Farm vending season comes to a bittersweet end, I can't help but anticipate what is to come!
The past two years working this event have been extremely rewarding and I've created a much stronger view of what I truly want from creating oddities. It's been a blessing to watch the beautiful art I've had a hand in making come to life when it finds its forever home, and each collector matches their collection, so its like watching my art exist in its human form. Each artist chose a piece that called to them, and I firmly believe that for me that is the best part of it all. Helping art find its home & helping humans find their art, one oddity at a time♡

My latest creation✨️

~Broken adult buck (deer) skullcap resting on a bed of moss, adorned with crystals, reused modelo gold creeping up the horn & ladybugs resting above♡

~This project was so fun to create! It took almost 10 hours total; 5+ hours of work by hand, plus the 4+ hours it took to process the skullcap. All of the materials used were salvaged, repourposed or secondhand and given an entirely new life and purpose! *Not all materials are natural due to natural materials degrading over time.*

~I'm excited to see who gets to bring this beauty home & just know itll find its perfect match in no time♡

~I've added more creature boxes to my inventory! I will have them on display at this upcoming vending event on the 12th-16th, and they're available for pickup or drop off to locals only♡ Considering these are all extremely fragile, shipping is not available, which is why this is a locals only deal!

~Each of these is from my personal cretures art box & I've curated this little collection over 5+ years time! Many were found as they are, but some were processed and cleaned to be closer to their natural state. Each one holds history and some have an entire story attached to them, so be sure to ask about it when you purchase!

Ever wonder why oddity artists price our items at the prices we do? Well, this is how they look in the middle of the process! The dirt, brain matter, hair, cartilage & critters have to be removed before I can even begin the deep cleaning process.
After the simple cleaning, I start to remove grease & disinfect to remaining bacteria before the whitening process.
For whitening, I use non corrosive methods and avoid harsh alcohols as they can damage the bones, then I have to individually deep clean the teeth and glue or place them back where they belong.
The entire process is extremely delicate and can take up to a year to fully finish, so it can be extremely time consuming and I have to use quite a bit of supplies for each piece. I pour so much love, energy and time into each work of art to fully preserve them and their natural beauty, as I intent to honor them in their passing and cherish their existence. They each deserve that care and dedication, and theyre each so unique♡

I've been neglecting my apothecary lately, but with oddity season in full swing I figured I'd whip together a few things I've had on the backburner✨️

Breathe will be a mullien tincture made from high grade alcohol & mullien leaves for lung health♡
Calming will be a lavender oil made from avacado oil, camomile & lavender for relaxation & makeup removal♡
Bug off is a spider & ant repellent made from vinegar, cedar oil & peppermint for weekly sprays around the outside on the steps and around the front door♡

Breathe & Calming will be ready in 4-6 weeks, but Bug off is ready for use, in stock and available!

I had another great vending event over the last weekend!
This year I not only got to vend at Bigfoot farms again, I had the chance to meet some amazing souls and gained a ton of new customers♡ I'm beyond thankful for the community coming together for events like this, and I really enjoy creating new memories and connections with everyone I encounter during them!
New inventory is coming very soon, and I'm excited to see more of you at the future events in wilderville!
