Hi, I am Karen. I am a different kind of Karen. 😁 A really nice one.
I don't normally speak out about politics. Yesterday I posted a few, what I thought was funny, at the time, political things. I got to thinking more about what this all means to me, because I'm not really a political person. So I am going to try and put my feelings down in words, with very easy to understand wording. I have a feeling that a lot of people will agree with me, and I think it will be a lot more than we all think.
With the new presidency stuff going on, it has, from what I can see, really divided Americans. We're already divided enough. There are so many mean things said around this time, and not just between political parties and the president and Mr Trump etc. All the different races constantly get mad at each other, and bad things happen. Really bad things. Ever since COVID happened the whole world has changed, and the United States has changed a lot. Personally, it has affected me so much, hurting my health, family members getting sick or dying, prices of everything going way way up, and we all got even more divided and resentful and scared of each other.
When I was young I was asked if I was a Democrat or Republican. I said I have no idea. I was then told a few differences between them. I said I guess I am Republican? But in the end, I just know that I love all people. I have no prejudice. It's not up to us to judge each other. That is one of God's many jobs. 😁 I am human, I make mistakes. I really didn't want to post anything political and I did, and I'm sorry for that.
I have been really disappointed in our government for quite a while, but, I really love my country so much. Life is short, please love each other. There has been so much increased violence, and we really need to stand together, especially the last few years. We need to back each other up, we need to not look the other way, we need to help our fellow human being, because it's the right thing to do, and they have feelings too. We need to love each other in our own sort of way. If we're divided by so many things, will there be much left of our country? Let's love each other and come together and back each other up, the best we can. Let's be there for each other. Look at how much crime and violence is going on right now. 🤔🥺
Remember the song, "we are the world" ? It spoke so much truth. I love all of you, no matter who you are. My heart is big, and still full of love for all people. The world frightens me lately, but I will never give up, and I will always help. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!! 💕
