A little history: I have been involved in photography for over 40 years first using 35mm & medium format film cameras. Now all my images are captured with various digital cameras. I have owned and operated a photography business for more than 30 years engaged in wedding photography, senior portraits, underclass school day portraits, and commercial product photography. Lately I have become more inv

olved in producing photographic fine art images. Within the last 10 years I have had images published in Popular Photography Magazine, Canada’s PhotoLife Magazine, B&W Magazine, Color Magazine, Focus Magazine, Trierenberg Super Circuit Publication in Austria, Black River Calendar Publishing and a number of local publications. My approach to fine art photography is to some extent influenced by my education in college, majoring in painting and printmaking. I have also been influenced by many other photographers too numerous to mention. I hope you enjoy viewing my images as much as I have had in making them.

My solo photo show is up for viewing at the Amy Van Andel Library in Ada on 7215 Headley Street SE. The show will be up from July through September. I will not be having a reception for this show but you can view the work during regular hours: Monday 9:30AM - 8:00PM, Tuesday 9:30AM - 5:00PM, Wednesday 9:30AM - 5:00PM, Thursday 12:00PM - 8:00PM, Friday 9:30AM - 5:00PM, Saturday 9:30AM - 1:30PM.

Light painting of a still life composition was originally photographed 3 years ago using four 10 second exposures in a completely dark room with a flashlight briefly lighting the subject from different angles for each exposure. Camera was triggered with remote control. Reworked it today by rearranging the layers in Photoshop and adjusting the blend modes.
