The National Broadway Theatre is seeking a passionate and organized individual to serve as Treasurer & Grant Writer.
Entering our fifth year, NBT is expanding into larger venues and growing our educational and performance programming for our 2026-27 season. We are looking for someone who believes in the power of the arts and wants to help support the future of our organization.
Position: Treasurer & Grant Writer
Location: Grand Rapids
Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing organizational finances and budgets.
- Preparing financial reports and supporting long-term planning.
- Research grant opportunities for arts, education, and nonprofit funding.
- Write and submit compelling grant applications and sponsorship proposals.
- Tracking funding opportunities and deadlines.
- Assist in growing relationships with donors and sponsors.
Ideal Qualities:
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with nonprofit finances, and grant writing.
- Passion for theatre, arts education, and community impact.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and collaborative
- Experience with QuickBooks, budgeting, fundraising, or nonprofit work.
