Mesa County Public Health (MCPH) continues our commitment to ensure public health is protected while moving forward on a path to reopening. Though cases of COVID-19 continue to increase and measures to protect those in our community who are most at risk are needed, MCPH offers a path for businesses to continue to be .
Our Variance Protection Program, (5-star) was created for this purpose and serves as a directory of establishments that have measures in place to ensure customer safety. With the level shift to red, the 5-star businesses are allowed to remain open at their current capacity; a team at MCPH is dedicated to working with them to provide education and outreach.
