Niagara Amusement Park & Splash World will not open for the 2026 summer season.

We know how much this park means to so many families, and this is not the outcome we hoped for.

We are grateful for the support of our guests, employees, and the Grand Island community.

Full refunds for all 2026 Season Passes will be processed over the next 30 days. No action is required on your part at this time. We will personally contact each passholder directly with details regarding their refund.

🎬 What’s Happening Wednesday

When the season ends, our classic bumper car house is disassembled and folded up for the winter to protect it from the elements.

Each bumper car is then fully taken apart and inspected — from wheels and pedals to clutches and motor units — before being freshly greased and rebuilt for the next season.

A lot of behind-the-scenes work goes into every ride.

Gunslinger might be taking a winter break, but there’s a LOT happening behind the scenes.

Each ride vehicle is removed for the winter to prevent snow load, then fully disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and rebuilt as part of its annual safety inspection.

Each Gunslinger ride vehicle has five different types of bumpers protecting its working parts — all checked and replaced as needed during inspections.
