Planning is well underway for the inaugural Granbury Carnival, coming February 5–7, 2027, and we couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead!

Now it’s your chance to help make history. 🎉 Our first call for committee member/leaders is almost here, and we’re looking for passionate community members who want to play a leadership role in bringing this family-friendly, Mardi Gras-inspired celebration to life in Granbury!

Whether your talents are in planning, fundraising, logistics, entertainment, volunteers, decorations, or simply making magic happen, we’d love to have you on the team!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Gather your family, invite your friends, and bring the neighbors!

There’s nothing better than spending a summer evening surrounded by music, creativity, laughter, and the natural beauty of Granbury’s favorite park.

Whether you stay for an hour or the entire evening, you’ll experience the joy of community gathering , the amazing sounds of live music , the inspiration of local artists ( artists may sketch or paint considering weather permitting) and the relaxing atmosphere that makes Shanley Park such a special place.

🎨🌿 What a Wonderful First Gathering for “ART IN THE PARK” at Shanley Park! 🌿🎨

Even with the threat of thunderstorms, we enjoyed a memorable Mother’s Day afternoon sharing art, creativity, and community. While the weather caused artists to cancel, our talented artists group that attended still had a wonderful time meeting park visitors, sharing our artwork, and connecting with fellow art lovers throughout the park.
