“I look in yet another direction and see directly across from me our neighbor, Angela King Gallery, where windows display strikingly breathtaking sculptures by the sculptor of the haunting “Children of Whitney” statues at the Whitney Plantation, a place that holds so many of my professional memories. Woodrow Nash’s “dread head and bonnet” wearing figures possess the same stark, hollowed-out eyes I remember well. “
