I’m honored to now have my work represented and available in
Edenton, NC. It was a privilege to visit the gallery at Chowan Arts Council during Easels in the Garden. They hosted an artist reception as part of the Cupola House sponsored weekend and Shannon and I were so impressed with the gallery and the level of artists they represent. Needless to say, I’m excited and look forward to being in Edenton more often!

After painting in the beautiful gardens of Edenton this weekend it was nice to return home to our own. The Baptisia and Peonies are the stars right now.

Shannon and I had a great weekend at Easels in the Gardens in Edenton, NC. Painting in historic gardens alongside talented artists, connecting with wonderful people, and sending a few paintings to new homes — including one right off the easel. If you love gardening, art, and history, get your tickets and spend this weekend in historic Edenton NC. Proceeds from the event go to support the restoration of NC’s oldest homes. I’ll be there among dozens of artists with my easel set up painting in Edenton’s beautiful gardens.

I’m grateful that this piece was accepted into the National Juried Art Show at Wilson Arts with the opening reception tomorrow night 4/9 at 6pm. The original barn still stands off Hwy 581 in Wilson County.
